A tremendous fell race this afternoon with six Cronk y Berry runners battling it out in the under 11’s race which took place up Peel Hill. Our children are wearing the bright yellowy/green tops.
The under 11’s race, which attracted more competitors than in the older school age ranges, saw 18 children battle it out over the shortest course. An almost photo finish saw Phinto from Western Athletics Club take first place, 1 second ahead of Conor from CYB. There was great running also from our runners, George and his sister Laura as well as our youngest competitor, Dylan. Amelia took a super 2nd place for the girls race, 1 second ahead of her older sister Olivia.
